Chinese New Year

This week, year 4 joined the millions of people e celebrating Chinese New Year. It will be marked by communities all over the world, where people will eat lots of food, enjoy fireworks, wear special clothes and hang red lanterns to mark the occasion.

This year Chinese New Year will begin on 12 February and will last up to 16 days. This year marks the change from the year of the Rat to the year of the Ox.

In school, 4C created a truly magnificent Chinese dragon and throughly enjoyed tasting a range of Chinese food. Their art work is simply spectacular.
